No Excuse for Abuse

We reserve the right to refuse service, and we may contact law enforcement for any threatening or abusive behavior.

At Broadway Family Clinic, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

We understand that medical concerns can be stressful. However, abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward our team will not be tolerated.

Our Expectation

All patients, family members, visitors, and callers are expected to communicate with clinic staff in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times.

Behavior That Will Not Be Tolerated

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Yelling or screaming

  • Profanity or abusive language

  • Threats, intimidation, or harassment

  • Discriminatory or offensive remarks

  • Aggressive, hostile, or disruptive conduct

  • Abusive behavior in person, by phone, by email, text, or through social media

Our Commitment to Staff and Patients

Our staff deserve to work in a safe environment free from abuse, and our patients deserve care in a calm and respectful setting.

If This Policy Is Violated

Any patient or visitor engaging in inappropriate conduct may be subject to one or more of the following:

  • Request to stop the behavior immediately

  • Removal from the clinic premises

  • Rescheduling or cancellation of the visit when appropriate

  • Dismissal from the practice for non-emergency care

  • Contacting law enforcement if behavior is threatening or unsafe

Emergency medical conditions will be handled appropriately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
